@mitchellberry …
@mitchellberry Thank You:-)

Each 36 cells configuration produces 80 watts. You generally loose about 10% from inverters batteries etc.
So 70 watts x 10 units = 700 watts. If your ebill says 96 kWh a day usage div by 24 =4 kilowatts per hour average.
You get about 10 hours a day of good charging (10 units 36 cellse each) 700 watts x 10hours=7 kWh per day so GRIDLESS 120 large panels BUT goal get the 100 kWh down to 50 kWh or less CPF bulbs, tankless water heat etc.
Offset=1 panel or more:-)

Hey dan, how many …
Hey dan, how many of these things would you need to come anywhere close to offsetting home power usage? and.. thx for showing yourself grabbing the iron in the wrong spot. wasn’t expecting that.

With so much …
With so much pressure from climate change concerns lots of technological effort is going into producing more cheaply.

Hi i tried making …
Hi i tried making my own solar panel i used 36 3×6 cells and got about 18volts on my digital tester i used 8 gauge wire to go from panel to charge controller but when i tied it into the other panels the voltage on controller dropped not incressed like i wanted it to so if i had 20.2 v b4 with other panels and connected one i made it went to 19 volts what should i do to correct this thanks ps panels are wired +to+ -to-

@killacounty It …
@killacounty It does after it builds heat, it was not at full temp yet and the tip on the crappy iron was loose so it was not conducting heat properly. The body was actually a lot hotter most of the time.

killacounty 05/02/10 @ 1:35 am

ya especially how …
ya especially how the iron wasn’t on at the end … doesn’t a hot soldering iron burn table surfaces if laying on it , but your wife’s hot- you need videos of just her – hmmmmm
