Do Office Depot or Office Max still have their ink cartridge/free paper program?
I remember both stores used to have an offer where you could bring in an empty printer ink cartridge and they would give you a discount off a purchase, or a free ream of paper.
Anyone know if they are still doing that? I didn’t see it in this week’s ads in the newspaper.
From an Office Depot employee:
OfficeMax’s program has pretty much ended :
OfficeMax restructured their ink recycling program. Customers will no longer receive an in store credit for cartridges returned. Customers bringing in qualifying empty ink cartridges will instead receive a three ($3) reward to their MaxPerks account for up to ten (10) cartridges and thirty ($30) dollars in rewards a week. OfficeMax is only accepting geniune HP and DELL cartridges. Customers can check on their rewards through the new MaxPerks website.
Office Depot’s program is a $3 credit in the form of a coupon, and up to 3 of these can be used in one day. You can recycle up to 25 cartridges per day obtain 25 coupons.
